由于柴油機品種、規(guī)格型號較多，對所使用的機油要求不盡一致，現提出兩種更換辦法：①柴油機說明書中對機油沒有提出明確要求的或沒有“冬、夏”之分的，應在柴油機走熱或作業(yè)結束后、水溫在八十度左右趁熱把機油放出，經不少于24小時沉淀，重新加回使用。沉淀的油底子要倒掉，油量不足時添加新油。②柴油機說明書中對機油有冬、夏之分的，應更換并使用夏季機油。方法是：使柴油機水溫達到八十度，趁熱放凈機油(注意別燙傷手)。等30分鐘后，擰緊放油塞，向油底殼加入等量的柴油，中速運轉12分鐘，將清洗柴油放出，留作洗件用。這樣可以排凈并清洗了油路、油道暢通無阻，給潤滑油路無故障運行創(chuàng)造了條件。再加入夏季機油。

2、清洗三濾、三網

空氣濾清器、柴油過濾器、機油濾清俗稱三濾。清洗三濾主要注意的是：①三濾是紙質濾芯，除空濾器濾芯清掃后可用外，其余更換新品。②金屬濾網、濾芯的，只能用干凈油、毛刷或氣筒進行清洗，用氣體吹出臟物，切不可火燒。“三網”指柴油加注口、機油加注口、廢氣排除口的過濾網，應徹底清洗，以使進出暢通無阻。
